SUNDAY WORSHIP GATHERINGS
We look forward to worshipping together this Sunday at 9 AM or 11 AM. We would love to see you in-person.
Bethesda Kids Church: is available for children ages 3-Grade 6.
If you have yet to fill out the 2025/2026 Bethesda Kids Church Registration form for your child(ren), please find it here.

Opportunities you don’t want to miss
Primetime people (50+)
The Prime Time People (50+) ministry will be holding its monthly meeting on April 30,2026 at 5:30 pm. We will be having a Spring Gospel Concert by Ani Oijambo and friends.
The menu for this event is Chinese/Filipino food consisting of spring rolls, fried rice, orange chicken and vegetable stir fry. The cost is $12.00. If you need a substitute, please let us know.
Tickets will go on sale Sunday, April 19 and 26 in the foyer. You can also register online by emailing primetimepeople@outlook.com. Registration for our meeting is required by noon on Tuesday, April 28.
All are welcome to attend and enjoy this special evening together. Come and bring a friend.
CITYTOTS COMMUNITY PLAYGROUP
CityTots is a FREE bi-weekly community playgroup for children (birth-5 years) & their parents/caretakers.
We enjoy fun mornings with free play, circle time, crafts, and snacks! And, we'll have coffee ready for caregivers on arrival. It is a great place to meet new friends or invite a friend to join you. Everyone is welcome.

YOUNG ADULT ONE NIGHT
Join us Sunday, May 3rd at 6 PM for a Young Adult gathering including food, friends, worship and the word.
We’ll be hanging out beginning at 6 PM with some pre-service refreshments.
We’re excited to welcome Pastor Greg Bowers as our Worship Leader and Jumi Odumosu as our speaker!
Service will begin between 6:30-7:00 PM. And we will end off the night with some delicious food from Javianna’s Exotic Island Cuisines.

BETHESDA YOUNG ADULTS
We are so excited to have launched a new version of BYA this Winter! If you’re 18 - 30 and looking for real connection, meaningful conversations, and space to grow in your faith, this is for you. Every other Tuesday, we will gather to hang out, dig deeper, and build community that goes beyond Sundays.
Whether you’re new to church, have been around for years, or are just curious, there’s a seat for you. Come for the community, stay for what God wants to do in this season.

AVALON WOMEN’S RETREAT
Ladies, this day is for you!
Join us on Saturday, May 23rd for an all-day women’s retreat filled with worship, encouragement, and connection with women from across the Avalon area.
The retreat will take place at Bethesda from 9 AM to 4 PM. The cost is $15 (lunch not included), and the registration deadline is May 9th.
We’re excited to welcome Bethany Laing as our speaker, along with Alyssa Thompson and the Bethesda team leading us in worship.

Alpha
Alpha is a series of interactive sessions that freely explore the basics of the Christian faith. Whether you're just checking it out, new to faith, or have been a Christian for a while, you are invited.
There are several sessions in the Alpha Film Series. Each session involves a video, followed by a discussion.
We meet weekly on Thursdays at 7 PM.

Bethesda Kids Church Registration 2025/2026
Each school year we require a new registration form for every child that attends Bethesda Kids Church. This helps us keep our records accurate and up to date.
If you are a parent/guardian of a child/children that attends Bethesda Kids Church on Sundays, please take a moment to complete this annual online form - one per child.

MUN BUS
We know that it can be so easy to miss out on attending church because of the inconveniences that arise as a student. In 2016 we realized that many of our students were seeking rides to and from MUN campus each Sunday, so we have been providing a bus to help students attend the 11 AM service ever since.
This is a free transportation service for students/families/individuals who live near or on Memorial Campus.

We are very pleased to share with you this episode of Heart Matters (aired on Sunday, November 23 on NTV), featuring our very own C4 Team & Conversation Cafe, as well as the talents of Brandon Lee Mullet and Ryan Achu.
Heart Matters is a locally produced television show, that shares musical talent from local NL communities as well as tremendous stories of faith and encouragement.

Conversation Cafe takes place Online on Mondays and Thursdays from 7 PM - 8 PM and In Person on Wednesdays from 6:45 PM - 8 PM.

PAONL PRIME TIME RETREAT
Join others from all over the island for a refreshing and uplifting weekend at the Prime Time Retreat, happening June 12-14 at the Emmanuel Convention Centre in Lewisporte.
Ministry Guests include: speaker, Pastor Barry Grimes and worship led by Pastors Mark and Corinne Locke.

Students from grades 7-12+ join us for community and discipleship in-person on Fridays (Wednesdays for the months of July & August).

Bethesda Young Adults is a growing community of students and young professionals. Bethesda YAs include students & young professionals (roughly those 18-30ish) from all over the world, doing life together in St. John's NL.

Prime Time People (50+)
This ministry serves mature adults who are seeking opportunities for connection. These monthly gatherings (the last Thursday of each month) are themed banquet meals with presentations and entertainment.
Tickets for each gathering go on sale the two Sundays prior in the church foyer.
