Young Adults at Bethesda
Bethesda Young Adults are a multi-cultural group who gather for community, celebrations and personal growth.
The term 'Young Adults' actually encompasses three core groups of individuals, Postsecondary Students, Graduate Students and Young Professionals. If we're being picky (which we are not usually) Young Adults most commonly refers to a group of individuals aged 18-30 years of age.
Bethesda YA provides the ability for everyone within this age bracket to find opportunities to connect and thrive while studying or working in the St. John's area. You'll see that we accomplish this through small groups, events & outings, YA cafes, Bible studies, and more.
The main thing, is you come as you are.
Transportation from Memorial University
We know that attending postsecondary comes with a whole lot of difficult changes, so we provide transportation to and from Memorial Campus. For special Young Adult events there’s a bus that (stops at the Chemistry Building and McPherson College) to help interested Young Adults attend these events.
YOUNG ADULT ONE NIGHT
These events are once-in-a-while Sunday Evening Church Services specifically for Young Adults. We host these at Bethesda and they’re organized in partnership with Mosaic Campus Church.
These events include amazing food, worship, word, reflection, prizes, community, and more! Attendance for this event isn’t limited to Young Adults of Bethesda or Mosaic, but is also widely attended by other Young Adult groups - and we love that!
Young Adults Small Groups
We provide small group opportunities specifically for young adults in partnership with Bethesda’s Small Group Ministry.
If you are interested in hosting or being a part of a small group, contact our groups director Ralph Cann or visit bethesda.ca/groups.
Young Adult Dinners
Our Young Adult Dinners happen on a Sunday in September and again early in the New Year. These dinners are an opportunity to connect with other young adults, hear about upcoming opportunities and enjoy a delicious and free meal.
