OFFERAMA month
May 2026
Offerama is a Province-Wide initiative, in the month of May, of generosity for special projects connected to sharing the love of Christ and supporting the needs of various societies and people groups.
We hope you take time to view the designations for 2026 and consider how you might support them.
Bethesda has set a church goal of $10,000 that will aid in supporting the provincial goal of $400,000. To give, please note ‘Offerama’ on your contribution.
The content below has been provided by PAONL to promote Offerama.
Missions Offerama is an annual fundraising initiative of the PAONL. Since its inception over 20 years ago, our Pentecostal family has sacrificially given over $11 million to reach people in more than 40 countries on 5 continents. This reflects approximately 10% of our overall Missions Program during that period. Our Movement began as a mission.
The full gospel came to NL through God’s call upon one life resulting in a transformation of many others. As the message spread locally by discipling new believers, it was carried globally by those who heard and obeyed the call. Our collective support of workers in Home and Global Missions has remained for generations. Together we must continue to pray, give, send, and go as God calls us so that the least reached and most vulnerable will have opportunity to receive the gospel!

ERDO: Emergency Relief Development Overseas
Goal: $100,000
The PAOC and PAONL, in partnership with ERDO, is providing humanitarian aid to people affected by war, floods, famine, earthquakes, etc. In 2024, ERDO received a 5-star rating from Charity Intelligence Canada as one of Canada’s most reputable top 100 charities.
In a letter of appreciation to the PAONL that we received from ERDO earlier this year, Rev. Daniel Lepojarvi - Chief Executive Officer, reported that ERDO implemented 105 projects in 40 countries, helping 288,426 people experience real, lasting change. Rev. Daniel went on to say:
“PAONL’s long-standing commitment to ERDO continues to have a remarkable impact. I was genuinely moved when we calculated that since 2008, PAONL has contributed over $3.3 million to ERDO’s work. This figure may be even higher, but it represents the depth of your investment in Kingdom-building ministry and in caring for people in profound need. Thank you for standing with us so faithfully.”
Here is how your generosity made a difference:
ERDO General Fund: Our support enabled ERDO to move quickly where needs were urgent, providing crisis response and sustaining long-term community development initiatives.
Crisis Response: We helped ERDO respond to major food insecurity through food assistance and agricultural programming in Sudan and Yemen. Additional emergency responses took place in Thailand, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, Jamaica, Cuba, Kenya, and the West Bank and Gaza.
Community Development: PAONL’s designated gifts helped expand vital water, health, and sanitation programs in Bangladesh and Honduras, bringing hope and dignity to vulnerable communities.
ERDO’s emergency response includes food, water, medicine, bedding, tarpaulins, cooking utensils, and medical assistance. It provides short-term relief to families experiencing severe poverty and partners with communities to grow more independent through education, clean water, medical care, micro-enterprise, conservation farming techniques, animal husbandry, and infrastructure programs.
We are privileged to partner with ERDO in reaching the least reached and most vulnerable!
Global Missions
Goal: $100,000
Global Worker Vehicles ($50,000.00): Vehicles are essential for Global Workers. In many overseas contexts, vehicles can be costly to purchase, maintain, and replace. In 2025 we were able to provide Ian and Tiffanie Rowley with a vehicle for transporting post-secondary students at their Global Student Centre in Cambodia. This fundraising initiative was a collaboration between PAONL youth (Youth Breakaways / Imagine Youth Conference) and our PAONL Self-Directed Giving Missions Program (Missions Offerama).
In 2026 we are pleased to report that we have a new Global Worker family being mobilized to Senegal, Africa who will need to be equipped with a new vehicle for transportation purposes. As their sending agency, the PAONL is responsible to ensure the mobility of our Global Workers is safe, reliable, and functional. Our collective generosity will provide them with a vehicle suitable for their ministry needs!
New Church Planting Initiatives ($25,000.00): The PAONL/PAOC is active in Senegal, West Africa. In addition to our current missionary enterprises in Dakar, Senegal (School and Dormitory for Deaf Children and Street Children Centres, etc.), new ministry initiatives are being launched in other areas among the least reached and most vulnerable. Senegal and other countries are a strategic gateway into the 10/40 Window.
The National Church in Senegal, West Africa, is actively pursuing church planting initiatives in rural areas. The PAOC and PAONL are collaborating with our national partners and Global Workers to help support and resource national pastors who understand the culture and are able to contextualize the gospel message. The church planting initiative in the Bayahk region will help reach the unreached Pulaar/Fulani people groups. Our generosity will provide funding for ministry and the construction of a new church facility.
Incubator–Partner to Mobilize (P2M) Program ($20,000.00): The PAOC/PAONL (Mission Global) Business As Mission (BAM) initiative involves training entrepreneurs. BAM involves entrepreneurial Global Workers who catalyze and utilize their unique skill sets for kingdom purposes. In 2025 we sponsored a Business for Transformation (B4T) Incubator Project in Latin America/Caribbean which has already resulted in the mobilization of new workers. According to a PAONL Global Worker, it is expected that within the next 5 years, the Global South will cross the threshold of sending more workers than the Global West and North.
The PAONL has been invited to invest in this growth by continuing to sponsor this Incubator initiative. The Incubator Partner to Mobilize (P2M) Program is designed to equip Global South mobilizing agencies with a proven program that provides a framework for training and support of cross-cultural workers among Unreached People Groups (UPGs). The B4T model provides financial resources to these workers and their ministries while tactically positioning them in a UPG context. Our generosity will help to fund a partnership between the PAOC/PAONL and the Pentecostal Assemblies of Costa Rica as the anchor partner. Our giving through Missions Offerama will help to establish La Incubadora in Spanish to equip others for mission.
Vacation Bible School ($5,000.00): The PAONL will be funding a Vacation Bible School (VBS) in the Philippines under the leadership of Marilyn Curtis. As part of her ongoing outreach and discipleship ministries in the Pandi settlement area, Marilyn is planning another VBS program that will enable her team of workers to share the Good News with children and families who need it. Many of these children and families also need humanitarian assistance of different kinds. Our prayerful and financial support will facilitate the provision of spiritual and physical nourishment to several hundred childrento plan activities that will have a positive impact on their communities.
Home Missions
Goal: $200,000
New Church Planting Initiatives ($100,000.00): The PAONL has a vision for Church Planting. We believe God is calling us to plant churches in rural and urban areas. We are pleased to partner with the Creston Assembly for a new church plant in Marystown, and the Avalon Presbytery and Elim Pentecostal Tabernacle for a church plant in the Portugal Cove–St. Philips area. Our vision, prayers, and generosity will enable us to strategically plant new churches in areas where there is a need for a full-gospel presence.
New Strategic Initiatives ($25,000.00): The PAONL has partnered with assemblies in Creston, Pasadena, and St. John’s to launch strategic initiatives. This involves ministries that go beyond the 4 walls of our assemblies to reach communities in creative ways. The PAONL initiated a strategic initiative in 2025 that involved providing assemblies with Revival Readiness Kits in anticipation of new growth. We are praying for God to give a fresh vision to pastors and church leaders toward creative and innovative ministry.
Local Outreach Initiatives ($25,000.00): The PAONL has sponsored outreach initiatives in Forteau, Paradise, Cartwright, Cox’s Cove, Rocky Harbour, George’s Brook-Milton, Norman’s Cove, and Mosaic and Cornerstone Ministry Centre in St. John’s. Outreach funds are available to Home Missions and Supplemented Assemblies upon the presentation of a Ministry Outreach Proposal. Our generosity will help to resource our local pastors and congregations as they endeavour to reach our communities.
New Canadians Initiatives ($25,000.00): Canada has created space to welcome newcomers from other countries. In recent years thousands of people have found a new home in our wonderful province. In response to this new opportunity, PAONL Assemblies are reaching out to newcomers within our communities. Funding may be made available to assemblies needing start-up funds for these initiatives.
Community Ministry & Property ($25,000.00): Pastoral and outreach ministry has resumed in Nain, Labrador with the Krauss family. Bridges are being built via involvement in various aspects of community life and fellowship that involves meals at the church. The roof of the church-parsonage complex requires a shingle replacement. Our generosity will ensure that this community outreach ministry is continued.
