WORSHIP & PRAYER GATHERINGS
At the beginning of 2026, Pastor Bruce left us with a year-altering challenge - a question meant to shape how we step into this new year:
What will you make of God in 2026?
Not a resolution. Not a goal. A decision. A decision about how clearly we see God and how that belief shapes the way we live.
If our belief is that God is bigger, it will shape our decisions. We won’t place limitations on Him, and we’ll live with greater boldness. We’ll remove barriers, repent where needed, and choose to live in freedom.
As we were reminded, we don’t need God to be bigger - we need a clearer view of who God already is. That challenge is exactly why we want to invite you to begin this year together at our first Worship & Prayer Gathering of 2026.
Join us as we start this year by lifting our eyes, aligning our hearts, and seeking God in worship and prayer. Let’s begin 2026 with a clearer view of God, together.

CITY TOTS COMMUNITY PLAYGROUP
CityTots is a FREE bi-weekly community playgroup for children (birth-5 years) & their parents/caretakers.
We enjoy fun mornings with free play, circle time, crafts, and snacks! And, we'll have coffee ready for caregivers on arrival. It is a great place to meet new friends or invite a friend to join you. Everyone is welcome.
Join us as we kick off the New Year together on Wednesday January 21st at 10 AM. Please help us prepare best for you and your littles by registering below.
young adult retreat
It’s the best weekend of the year! We are so excited for our annual Young Adult Retreat for Post-Secondary Students, Young Professionals, or anyone between the ages of 18-30.
Happening from February 20th - 22nd at the Wilds Resort, this is an intentional weekend away to grow your friendships and to grow in your faith. The weekend includes worship gatherings with speaking, along with perspectives of life and faith experience. There will also be times of adventure and times to relax.
The registration/payment deadline is THIS Sunday, January 18th.
BETHESDA YOUNG ADULTS
We are so excited to be launching a new version of BYA this Winter! If you’re 18 - 30 and looking for real connection, meaningful conversations, and space to grow in your faith, this is for you. Every other Tuesday, we will gather to hang out, dig deeper, and build community that goes beyond Sundays.
Whether you’re new to church, have been around for years, or are just curious, there’s a seat for you. Come for the community, stay for what God wants to do in this season.

YOUNG ADULT One Night
Join us Sunday, January 25th at 6 PM for a Young Adult gathering including food, friends, worship and the word.
We’ll be hanging out beginning at 6 PM with some pre-service refreshments. Service will begin between 6:30-7:00 PM. And as always, we will end off the night with some delicious food together.

Prime Time People (50+)
The Prime Time People (50+) ministry will be holding its monthly meeting on January 29, 2026 at 5:30 PM.
Our speaker is Dr. Joy Clements, who will be speaking to us about A Healthy Lifestyle for Seniors. Our musical feature will be Sandra Sheppard.
The menu for this event is ham, scalloped potatoes and corn. The cost is $12/ticket. If you need a substitute, please let us know.
Tickets will go on sale Sunday, January 18th and 25th in the foyer. You can also register online by emailing primetimepeople@outlook.com. Registration for our gathering is required by 12 PM on Tuesday, January 27th.
All are welcome to attend and enjoy this special evening together. Come and bring a friend.
Bethesda Kids Church Registration 2025/2026
Each school year we require a new registration form for every child that attends Bethesda Kids Church. This helps us keep our records accurate and up to date.
If you are a parent/guardian of a child/children that attends Bethesda Kids Church on Sundays, please take a moment to complete this annual online form - one per child.

CityKids Night Out
CityKids Night Out is back!
Elementary Kids (Kindergarten - Gr. 6) are invited to a monthly CityKids 'Night Out' on Thursday, February 12th from 6:30-7:45 PM.
There will be games, music, snacks, a Bible Story, and of course - lots of prizes!
Please note that this ministry is not intended for pre-schoolers. If you are looking for opportunities for your pre-school children, consider joining us at CityTots Community Playgroup.
MUN BUS
We know that it can be so easy to miss out on attending church because of the inconveniences that arise as a student. In 2016 we realized that many of our students were seeking rides to and from MUN campus each Sunday, so we have been providing a bus to help students attend the 11 AM service ever since.
This is a free transportation service for students/families/individuals who live near or on Memorial Campus.

We are very pleased to share with you this episode of Heart Matters (aired on Sunday, November 23 on NTV), featuring our very own C4 Team & Conversation Cafe, as well as the talents of Brandon Lee Mullet and Ryan Achu.
Heart Matters is a locally produced television show, that shares musical talent from local NL communities as well as tremendous stories of faith and encouragement.

Prime Time People (50+)
This ministry serves mature adults who are seeking opportunities for connection. These monthly gatherings (the last Thursday of each month) are themed banquet meals with presentations and entertainment.
Tickets for each gathering go on sale the two Sundays prior in the church foyer.
